As a trainer, what are your priorities?

Compliance with safety rules is the number one
priority, both in terms of driving and loading the
vehicle, followed by a global awareness of sustainable
” development, particularly through eco-driving. I
provide each driver with one week of continuous
professional training every five years. Among
the many points discussed, adopting a flexible
driving style to, among other things, minimise CO2
emissions, i.e. do not leave the engine running
when the vehicle is at a standstill, do not abuse
the air conditioning in the cabin, and use the most
direct routes for collections. My role is to provide
real support for our drivers and to listen to their
experience in the field. ”
