Not only is plastic one of the leading causes of pollu-
tion worldwide, but its production is also very energy
intensive. Its re-use has 4 advantages:
• the extension of the product's lifespan.
• the economy of the resources used in its manufacture.
• the reduction of waste production.
• a lower purchase cost.

A quality, ecological and economical solution
For more than twenty years, ECO-LOGISTIQUE Réem-
ploi (45), a subsidiary of the CHIMIREC Group, has spe-
cialised in the treatment and recovery of "rigid hollow
body" industrial packaging, such as drums, jerry cans,
bottles, IBCs, GRVs, 1,000-litre containers and buckets.
It offers for sale a wide range of "second-hand" packag-
ing: the quality of new, cheaper, and more ecological.

Which treatment process?
Once collected, the packaging is emptied, washed,
and checked for leaks. If necessary, they are rebuilt by
changing the shell or the framework, e.g. for IBCs.
With the same quality as new packaging, refurbished
packaging can once again be used in industrial sectors.

Treatment capacity per year:
20,000 tons,
100,000 IBC containers.
Recovery rate: 99%

the water used to clean the
packaging is treated by a biological
treatment plant and then recovered
by phytoremediation.
